In India, food companies having a yearly revenue between ₹12 lakh and ₹20 crore are required to get an FSSAI State License. It is issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), which guarantees compliance with food safety laws and increases customer confidence. For small- to medium-sized producers, facilities, carriers, businesses, and distributors, this license is necessary. It is valid for one to five years and needs to be renewed before then in order to prevent penalties and guarantee ongoing business.
