Fani Willis is the Fulton County District Attorney leading the prosecution against Donald Trump for alleged election interference in Georgia. She rose to prominence in 2021 when she launched an investigation into Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election results. Willis secured a sweeping racketeering indictment in August 2023, charging Trump and 18 others.
