BNYS also termed as Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science. BNYS is 4.5 years undergraduate degree course focussing on naturopathy and the use of yoga in treating bodily ailments. Students must complete 1 year of mandatory internship after completing the 4.5 Year UG course. Naturopathy can also be called an alternative medicine that does not use drugs or medicines to heal or prevent. Thus, it is often non-invasive and also non-prescriptive.
Yogic sciences form an integral part of BNYS education, where students delve into the practice and philosophy of yoga, including asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and relaxation techniques. The integration of yoga with naturopathic principles aims to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
