Enrolling on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform, which was developed by the Indian government to streamline procurement, is known as GeM registration. It enables vendors, producers, and service providers to present their products and offerings to government purchasers. In response, government purchasers make use of the platform to purchase goods from registered vendors.
In order to register, vendors must submit product catalogs, complete verification, provide business papers, and create a profile. Sellers can bid and sell to government agencies if they are approved.
Before being able to access the site, government entities must register and undergo verification. Personnel with authorization can peruse, evaluate, and start the purchase process.
GeM gives sellers access to a sizable government market, improves transparency, and cuts down on the time and expense of procurement. Customers gain from a large selection of goods.
