I was locked out of my Gmail account because I had forgotten my password (quite typical of me). I had also neglected to update the recovery email and phone number, which made the situation worse.

Fortunately, I discovered in my despair that I had connected my Facebook page and Gmail account for convenient logins! This turned become my lifeline.

This is how I was able to get it back:

• Never pay with Western Union, Moneygram or other anonymous payment services
• Don't buy or sell outside of your country. Don't accept cashier cheques from outside your country
• This site is never involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, shipping, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"
