Rhododendron Oil is a volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the dried leaves of Rhododendron dauricum L., a plant in the Ericaceae family. Its appearance is a clear liquid with a light yellow-green to yellow brown color, a strong floral aroma, and a cool and spicy taste. Rhododendron Oil can be freely mixed with methanol, ethanol, acetone, chloroform, or ether, and is slightly soluble in water.
